Wido Lab has valid permits to be able to import controlled naroctics, precursors and health dangerous classified reference materials. We handle everything from import, export and reporting to Swedish authorities.
Organic reference materials
Chiron’s range of reference materials is divided into four areas;
environmental analysis, food analysis, toxicology analysis and petroleum analysis.
Chiron manufactures organic reference materials for environmental, food, toxicology, pharmaceutical, and petroleum analysis. The manufacturing site is in Trondheim, Norway and Chiron collaborates with various universities and government labs in research and development of new substances and reference materials.
Environmental analysis
Over the years, the environment has become more and more polluted as a result of human activity. As we learn more about the threats from different chemicals, the need for control and analysis of these increases and therefore Chiron offers high-quality reference materials in this area.

Petroleum analysis
For over 30 years, Chiron has produced reference materials for steroids and triterpanoids (hopanes) used in the petroleum industry. These substances are found in petroleum and sediments.
Hopanes are actually the second largest group of natural products on Earth, surpassed only by cellulose. They have traditionally been used in petroleum exploration, but have recently been increasingly used for forensic analysis, for example in the investigation of oil spills.

Proficiency Testing Programs
Proficiency testing programs are designed for qualitative and quantitative performances. PT programs aims to ensure the quality of laboratories by having participants analyze external controls, record results, and then receive reports on the quality of the results, and can compare the analysis results against other laboratories.
